Due to unfortunate circumstances, we have had to cancel our Wales meet over the weekend of 15th, 16th & 17th July.
A lot of us have only just started to phone the campsite to book a pitch and it turns out, they are fully booked for the weekend, including all surrounding camp sites are fully booked as well due to the Dolgellau festival.
This is the first time that I know of, that it’s been fully booked, as most of us would turn up on the day or phone a few days in advance. .
After phone call with John Hooper today, we will look to reschedule for a date in September, allowing us to get pitches booked and hopefully a mine tour booked as well.
Unfortunately, Jen who worked at the mine daily and who I use to go and have brews with up there, sadly passed away last month and before he was able asked higher management for permission to show us all around.
I have contacted Alba Minerals Resources directly and as soon as I get a reply, I will let you know.
As soon a date is confirmed, I will publish it via all means.
